Executive Director of First Priority of North Alabam
To provide executive direction and leadership for the First Priority of North Alabama, Inc. ministry. Duties and responsibilities will vary within the spectrum of board development, fundraising, ministry training, and local church networking. The ability to relate to each our five network demographics is a must: business leaders, church leaders including pastors and youth pastors, parents, teachers and students.
The Executive Director reports directly to the chair of the local Board of Directors with indirect reporting to First Priority of America.

Qualifications:
- A born again believer with a desire to serve people.
- Agrees with First Priority of America’s Mission, Vision and Statement of Faith.
- A minimum of one year’s experience in similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with diverse personalities.
- Ability to work with confidential matters.
- Ability to conduct themselves with a manner of integrity and loyalty.
- Ability to follow-through jobs and tasks to completion.
- Self-starter with the ability to see the need and accomplish goals and work flow assignments.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficient in MAC & Windows programs.
- Knowledge of Keynote & Power Point.
- Knowledge of Newsletter Production.
FPOA Requirements Prior To Employment:
- FP employment application on file.
- Must have personal background check.
- Must Complete the AI test.
- Must complete the DISC profile.
- Signed copy of FP employee manual on file.
- Signed copy of FP job description on file.
- 4 Phase training completed.
- FPOA Systems & Procedures Training (Donor Tools - Highrise)
- Must agree to and sign our Code of Conduct
Salary and Benefits:
- Salaried position hired by the local First Priority Board of Directors.
- Pay will be determined based on experience and skill level.
- Paid holidays include: Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and day following, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, and the Employee’s Birthday.
- Vacation:
- 1 year = 1 week
- 2 years = 2 weeks
- 3 -10 years = 3 weeks

JOB DESCRIPTION and DETAILS
The Executive Director of First Priority of North Alabama (herein after called the Ministry)
- is expected to have a love for people and a passion for the North Alabama area and believe in the vision and purpose of the Ministry. The Executive Director should be able to clearly articulate the vision, mission, and purpose of the Ministry to a wide variety of audiences.
- is expected to lead a Jesus honoring life, who seeks to connect and grow individuals in Jesus, and is able to balance family and Ministry needs.
- is the Chief Executive staff position of the Ministry and is able to work cooperatively with and under the authority of the Board of Directors.
- is responsible for the planning of a yearly calendar and budget, operating within the confines of both.
- is expected to be a well-balanced individual skilled at managing the details of the Ministry and skilled at leading and managing people.
- is responsible to report to the Board and otherwise ensure that the Board is kept fully informed of all the activities of the Ministry. He is responsible to advise the Board of any and all developments, which may affect the Ministry's well-being.
- is responsible for the spiritual health & well-being of the staff of the Ministry.
- is responsible to uphold and adhere to all policies and by-laws of the Ministry.
- is responsible to provide leadership and work with the Board to craft and implement policy guidance to the Ministry as well as developing strategic planning and vision strategy for the future direction of the Ministry.
- is responsible to supervise, manage, and direct all administrative operations, programs and activities of the Ministry.
- is the liaison between the Board of Directors and the staff of the Ministry and is responsible to implement the policy decisions and directives of said Board.
- is responsible to report and make recommendations to the Board, administrative and personnel matters relating to the Ministry as relates to the hiring, training, supervision, evaluation and termination, if necessary, of all administrative personnel to include all full-time and part-time staff.
- oversees coordination of all Ministry program planning and implementation.
- is responsible for the integrity of all financial records and procedures relating to the Ministry and is responsible - in conjunction with the Board of Directors, to prepare annual budgets -and is responsible to further maintain records, files, documents and archives of all material pertaining to the Ministry.
- is the primary liaison between the Ministry and First Priority of America.
- is responsible to enter into contracts on behalf of the Ministry with the approval of the Board of Directors.
- is responsible to represent the Ministry in conjunction with First Priority of America to other organizations, the media and the public at large, and is responsible as necessary, for fundraising, public relations, event staffing and any and all activities not listed above but necessary to the operation of the Ministry, its programs and events.
- is responsible to prepare, as required, agenda, books, bulletins, reports, testimony, daily correspondence and other materials and communications necessary to the operation of the Ministry.
- is a person of integrity and maintains and keeps the utmost confidentiality of all sensitive ministry information including financial records, procedures and contact databases.
